Demonduction by Ma Holos
Ma Holos take sexy to new heights on their debut cassette. The Cleveland based band brings out all the droning fuzz and endless reverb enthusiasts of Spacemen 3 would enjoy while keeping fans of classic Velvets inspired punk perfectly at ease. They weave in and out of daydreamer of the year Robert Joyce’s haunting melodies and Marty Brass’ almost evil sounding Mirrors inspired leads. Bass is held down like a sub-narcotic trip through the sewer system and the drums pound like early stooges. This is the type of album that serious music enthusiasts could trade influences on all day long. Enjoy!
